Scrap business being conducted at 6 Halfway Avenue, 17th July

Since December 2017 a rented House (6 Halfway Avenue LU4 8RA) has been conducting a scrap metal business. Scrap metal vehicles leaving and arriving at all times during the day. Trucks loaded with scrap are processed (metal gleaning with hammers and power tools) on the vehicle and on the highway. This metal dissembling is carried out on a daily schedule, usually late afternoon to mid evening. This nuisance is more annoying in this warm weather, as windows are open. Early morning, the diesel engine of the vehicle is started at 6.30 am and left idling for up to 30 minutes before departing. This is a residential area and we should not be subjected to this abuse. Please resolve this blight on our neighbourhood as soon as possible, or I think this could escalate to an uncomfortable situation.

Domestic flat pack furniture dumped in bushes, 16th July

Two wise guys from Heacham Close decided to flytipp what looks like a flat pack wardrobe in the bushes close to 7 Anmer Gardens. The wardrobe door includes a full size mirror which is dumb given the current fire risks plus children playing in the park at risk from broken glass once it’s smashed. The scumbag cowards ran away like the weak, lazy cowards they are back into Heacham Close.
