Lots of litter along walkway next to Wheatfield Surgery that leads to Sandringham drive, 16th January

Every time I walk this way to work it is absolutely covered with litter. It's disgusting. I even spoke to a lady today who said she has complained several times and even tried clearing it herself, only to be told it's not her job, but she said nothing is ever done about it. People are just selfish and lazy. There are plenty of bins nearby, so there is no excuse. I have lost track of how long it's been like this. Probably consistently since the new road was put in. Should really be some cctv to catch people littering so they are actually held accountable and made to clear it up themselves.

2 Huge Permanent Cranes Being Used Without Planning Permission, 15th January

When are the 2 huge illegal permanent cranes on the North Luton Trading Estate going to be removed? They are both being used without planning permission. They are an invasion of the neighbourhoods privacy, a noise nuisance, visual intrusion & visual distraction. The planning inspector said they cannot have any cranes on the premises as they are an invasion of privacy & this was also confirmed by planning in 2 previous planning applications. The residents have made many complaints about these cranes but have never received any replies. Both of these cranes are nearly 100% visible from residents houses & we can see them moving from inside the house all day long being a visual intrusion. The cranes at 250 Toddington Road are a severe noise nuisance & we can hear it inside our house above the sound of the television. It is bad enough that we have to listen to them banging with hammers & using power tools & beeping & banging outside all day long manufacturing cranes & concrete frames & concrete stairs with no planning permission. Both of these cranes can be seen from residents homes as far away as Sundon Park. We have been told that they need planning permission for all large & small structures that are a visual disturbance & have a negative impact on residential houses & the street scene, even if they are not attached to the floor. The company at 250 Toddington Rd also don't have planning permission in the front of the premises for what they are moving with the crane, which is from manufacturing & storing & moving concrete frames & concrete stairs & metal cranes. They are also using the premises as a crane hire company without planning permission. The company in Progress Way are also using the premises as a crane hire company without planning permission & we have been told that these two companies are associated with each other. When are these illegal cranes going to be removed? When is an enforcement notice going to be issued for the uses of the premises with no planning permission? When is a noise abatement going to be issued for the noise nuisances that the council confirmed as being this 4 years ago & in the planning application for the crane? When are the council going to respect the residents privacy & comply to the Human Rights Act law & get these nuisances removed from the premises?
